Workshops to Inspire

Over the last year I have introduced a whole series of new workshops.  Some of these result from requests from customers and students, which I am only too happy to provide.   Some of the more exciting workshops have been:

Chenille Bag by Armida Monteith

Armida had the ladies layering, stitching and slashing away eagerly.  From little 1970’s inspired pouches to large and soft carry-alls, results were often surprising, but always pleasing and a whole new range of bags was achieved.

Patch & Quilt with Jenny Armour

Jenny is well known for her experience in patchwork and quilting and is also another very experienced tutor.  She presented here students with an eye opening introduction to various patchwork and quilting techniques.  Students were inspired to create small objects using their newly learnt techniques.

Kimono by Orna

Participants were encouraged to explore the use of colour, angles and pattern to create a modern take on the traditional kimono design.  Using 100% cotton Bali prints a cool easy to care for kimono was created.

(photos coming very soon, so please come back to see the students results)

If you want to know more; such as when we will be running one of these again, please contact us.
