We run sewing classes in
dressmaking and machine decorative crafts. Classes are small, so you
know that you will get the attention and help you want and deserve.
All our teachers are highly
accomplished in their areas and have a wealth of experience in
teaching. Amongst the regular
teachers you will find
Orna Bennett,
after 15 years of teaching in Tertiary education is now teaching
enthusiasts sewing and pattern techniques as well as machine embroidery .
As a regular contributor to Australian
Stitches Magazine you will find her articles easy to follow.
Armida Monteith,
was also a teacher in Tertiary education for about the same length of time,
but is now happily sharing her knowledge in garment and pattern
construction as well as machine crafts.
Jenny Armour, has a strong
reputation for excellence in patchwork and quilting, but don’t let
that daunt you. She enjoys
inspiring others with her open and passionate approach to the craft and
everyone comes out of her classes with huge smiles on their faces.
